What is Matrix vX?

Matrix vX is a platform for creation of intelligent video surveillance system based on VideoIQ7 software. This solution was developed for customers that place high demands on the security of the facility and require maximum reliability of the hardware and software components of the security system with an option for intelligent analysis of video and audio information.

Matrix vX video server (like Matrix iX) is manufactured exclusively for the specific requirements of the customer which makes it a solution maximally oriented to perform the specified custom tasks of the security service. This is why Matrix vX solution is chosen for the complex projects where reliable solutions and professional video analytics, which provide security safeguarding in a 24/7 mode, are required. Such projects include manufacturing enterprises, sales outlets, hotel complexes and private guarded territories.

Matrix vX is a flexible tool designed for construction of security systems based on VideoIQ7 software Windows Embedded XP OS. Due to the modular architecture, the built in specialized Windows Embedded XP operational system guarantees a minimum of program errors, unlike the conventional user OS. VideoIQ7 software with an intuitive user interface allows to make the adjustments of the necessary parameters easily and to operate system within the limits of the user tasks.

Matrix vX is an optimal platform for the intelligent video surveillance system which combines various equipment, such as analog and IP-cameras or servers (in any amount required by the customer), rotatable cameras and devices, actuating units and professional audio recording systems. In addition VideoIQ7 software is integrated with POS-terminals which allow to supervise cash operations effectively. The system based on Matrix vX can work with archives of unrestricted size, such as RAID arrays and tape storage devices.

VideoIQ7 software suite preinstalled on Matrix vX devices is based on the client-server architecture. You can connect up to 64 cameras to one video server and organize up to 5 remote workstations (it is possible to work with four Matrix vX video servers simultaneously from one workspace). You can also connect to the video server through a web-interface or organize remote access from mobile devices, like palmtops and mobile phones, and to receive the information remotely, which increases usability and does not require special skills from the user.

VideoIQ7 surveillance system features advanced video analysis capabilities which are implemented by the intelligent video detectors and MomentQuest archive search technology by the image parameters. Video analytics together with the video perception facilitating tools, such as FrameMerge panoramic video image creation technology, make VideoIQ7 a highly efficient system. VideoIQ7 is not just a surveillance system, it is an operator’s assistant which presents the information in the most convenient form and helps to concentrate on the most important thing – making the correct decisions.
